Mixed Reality (MR)

The combination of the physical and digital worlds, known as mixed reality, enables fluid and natural 3D interactions between people, machines, and the environment. The development of computer vision, graphics processing, display technologies, input methods, and cloud computing is the foundation of this new world. The phrase “mixed reality” was first used by Paul Milgram and Fumio Kishino in a study published in 1994.

On their mobile devices, hundreds of millions of internet users have had mixed reality experiences. The most popular mixed reality options available on social media right now are mobile AR. People might not even be aware that the Instagram AR filters they employ are mixed reality experiences.
