Chargeback

What is Chargeback?

A chargeback is when the money from a particular transaction—typically one that was done with a credit or debit card—is returned to the payer.

The main purpose of chargebacks is to protect the consumer; they are typically started by customers after erroneous or fraudulent charges, such as when they paid for goods with their credit card but never received it.
