Central Ledger

What is Central Ledger?

Contrary to decentralized ledgers utilized in distributed ledger technology, central ledgers are physical books or digital files that are used by individuals or organizations to record and total financial transactions in a centralized manner (DLT).

Since the dawn of civilization, ledgers have been used to document and attest to the possession of property, the legal status, and political rights of persons, as well as their legal identity.
